Portrait of the Norse goddess Hel with a stone relief of the World Serpent, Jörmungandr, in the background.

Welcome to my art shop!

My name is Karolina Węgrzyn, I am a self-taught artist from Poland, currently living abroad. I create fantasy art, illustrations, and maps. Occasionally, I also do art for kids, so make sure you check out the colorful section, too!

Fandom and Inspiration

If you've ever wondered, my brand takes its name from my Tolkien fandom and art community nickname "Sirielle" - hence Sirielle Art. Indeed, I am a huge fan of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien and the world of Arda he created, which is refleced in my art. This passion also led me to join the editorial team of the Polish Tolkienists Almanac, "Aiglos".

Yet, I chose the Norse goddess Hel to represent me here, as mythology is another major inspiration of mine, and this portrait is my all-time favorite. But do not dispair - Fingon the Valiant from The Silmarillion is keeping watch over us from the main shop banner!

Portfolio & Technique

My technique is mostly digital painting and drawing, done by hand using a graphics tablet and stylus. I do not use generative Ai in my art.
